Spearmint Polo’s

I am finding myself eating more and more mints these days for fear of having bad breath and also to give me that added little sugar booth through out the day. Polo’s are always such an obvious choice but I find these can often get rather tiresome and to be honest are rather boring. The fact that I can’t stand sugar free polo’s shoves them out of the equation but knowing that Polo’s also do a spearmint flavour is heaven to my ears.

Spearmint is by far the most enjoyable minty flavour for taste but not necessarily the best for the ridding of bad breath. For a mere 22pence per tube or packet of these mints I think you really cant go wrong and therefore always find myself buying several packets at a time.

The mints are cheap and you get around 25 in a packet. The spearmint ones are a light blue speckled in colour and this is what differs somewhat from the original Polo and they look much cooler to look at. The smell that these mints give off is definitely that of a spearmint Polo, very sweet and appealing.

The mints are perfect size to fit into the mouth and I often find myself putting in more than one mint at a time. The fact they have a hole in really doesn’t make that much difference to the eating enjoyment of the mints and perhaps make the mint slightly easier to suck down to the end.

Both crunching the mint up and sucking it to the end gives a great taste to the mouth and an enjoyable time can be had eating the mint either way. It of course takes longer to suck the mint but even them one can be sucked with a couple of minutes.

The freshness that the mint gives the mouth is really very pleasant and makes the mouth water nicely. A whole packet is easy to munch down within one sitting and I am often found gripping on to a packet where ever I go.

I am sure most people have tried the original Polo and have enjoyed them. These mints are not as popular but I find them much nicer to eat then the others. If you can give them a try and I am sure you will enjoy them. For the price you really cant go wrong. If you do buy a packet and decide you don’t like them well let me know and I will forward you my address so that you can post the remainder of the packet off to me.

Summary: a great fresh mint
