Advantages: Great for smokers and people who like weaker mints.

Disadvantages: They break in the packet.

I like mints, always have, but I wouldn't go out and buy them, just eat them if they are around. The other day my cousin gave me a packet of Spearmint Polo's, she had 6 packets (for some reason) and paid 0.30p for each packet from a vending machine.

Polo's come in different flavours, the Spearmint variety come in a light green wrapper, with silver foil underneath protecting and preserving the polo's. The flavour is visible on the wrapper.

On the wrapper is the information, ingredients and nutritional values.

Per tube contains 138 calories.

Polo's are small mints that are in the shape of o's, they have polo written on them and are approximately 2 cm in width, there is however a hole in the middle, which polo's are famous for.

The Polo's are white and chalky, they smell quite strongly of mint, the spearmint ones are a nicer smell than the original ones.

The second you put the polo in your mouth you can taste the mint, and it is definitely spearmint, it is that less sharp taste that you can get with some mints. It is strong enough in terms of flavour but won't make you gag, if you don't like extra strong mints these are a definite contender, they have just enough umph!

I am a smoker and would recommend these for after a cigarette, you can't tell you have been smoking as it covers the smell but you also don't look like you're hiding something by overly smelling of mint.

A pack of polo's will fit in your handbag and contain approximately 25 polo's so they do last a while. Unless they break which if the packet has been knocked about they quite often do, it is quite annoying opening a packet and finding them all smashed to pieces.

Polo's have been advertised for many years as the hole! They definitely are this.

Summary: A great anser to handbag mints.
