Well, I haven?t done a nice choccy opinion for a while now so I just had to give it another go. The other day, a friend of my Nan?s (Note: Not my NAN but a friend of) gave me a box of White Chocolate After Eight mints. Why they did this is beyond me, I don't usually go round buying people I hardly know a box of choccies but I?ll be damned if I was going to complain. What a nice little (ahem!) big, cheapskate I am, well I suppose someone has to be, might as well be me. Jubilantly, I carried my box of heavenly treats hope for further investigation, here are my findings: ~~~~~~PACKAGING~~~~~~ The creamy colored rectangular box ... Read the complete review

After Eights have traditionally been eaten in the Lools household at Christmas for as long as I can remember. This is usually been the traditional variety however last year I decided to be less traditional and try a "white" Christmas option for the After Eight White Chocolate After Dinner Mints. ***Packaging*** The after dinner mints come in a cream colour rectangular box. This is a 300g box which is about 15cm long by 4cm wide. This sits length ways and opens at the top to display all 35 after dinner mints inside. The After Eight dark green logo is written in swirly writing with a very traditional look to the box. Inside the ... Read the complete review

Well, i am used to the chocolate After Eights, but White chocolate After Eights? what is that all about? I was actually quite shocked when i strolled along the aisle of the supermarket and scanned across these. I just had to pick them up and try them out.....and this is what i thought. The box is quite attractively designed, it's a creamy coloured box shaped rectangular. The famous logo 'After Eight' is a dark Green is written in very sexy, fancy writing. I love ripping the cellopane wrapping and opening the box, you smell the sweet straight away, the scent just comes rising up and knocking your senses - literally ! You get loads of thin chocolate square mints ... Read the complete review

It all started with a shopping trip. When I was casually browsing through the chocolate section of one of the big department stores in town I came across their advent calendar display. Taking pride of place on the front row was a Big Ben shaped 30cm tall After Eight extravaganza. Now I didn’t buy it, because no matter how much I earn, and no matter how much I like chocolate, I can’t justify spending 10GBP on an advent calendar, but it got me thinking. And thinking. And thinking some more. And the next day in Lidl, it got my hand reaching out for a normal box of After Eights and putting them in my trolley without me even realizing. The original ... This is the last of the Christmas chocolates I'm eating just in time for Easter because nobody in my house likes white chocolate except for my baby sister but she can't have these because the mint is too strong. They are the same as normal After Eights but they have used white chocolate instead of dark and the mint fondant in the middle is the same. The white chocolate is creamy but it is very sweet and this makes each chocolate very sickly. I don't like white chocolate but sometimes I can eat it like today but I couldn't eat as many of these After Eights as I can the dark chocolate ones and I've eaten a whole box of those before but I couldnt do that with ...
