Premium Review Nestlé Yorkie Bar: The Girls can Have it (318 words)

Chocolate is one of these food items most of us cannot resist, and fortunately there are many brands for us to choose from. Some of these brands provide us with the tastiest chocolate available others simply try to emulate the more popular and successful brands. Nestle falls somewhere in between, it is no doubt a successful company and does make a few really good products of which category many would say Yorkie falls into. I much prefer Cadbury's chocolate myself but have on occasions purchased a Yorkie for the pure satisfaction of it's size. For your outlay of 55p or thereabouts you will receive a larger than normal bar of chocolate. Six huge ...  Read the complete review

I adore chocolate! No surprise there really as most of us to like it! Today out shopping after going to the doctors and not feeling at all well I decided to treat meself to a bar of chocolate and I opted for one of my all time fav bars! Packaging.... Dark blue shiny wrapper telling me its by Nestle, big yellow letters telling Me it's indeed a Yorkie bar and in the O of the yorkie lettering a picture of a woman with a red cross through it and white large lettering telling me it is not for girls (good job I dont follow any rules!) lol On the back of the wrapper, tells me it weighs 68g, ingredients, Nutritonal details and contact details for ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nestlé Yorkie Bar: Don't Tell My Daughter They're Not For Girls. (470 words)

Every week I take my children to the local swimming pool for their swimming lesson and afterwards if they have tried really hard and concentrated they get a chocolate out of the vending machine. Unsurprisingly they choose the most expensive and biggest bar they can see which always happens to be a Yorkie bar. Not wanting to spend more than have to, and drooling at the mouth watching my kids eat chocolate without me I always ask for a chunk from each of them which they *usually* give to me happily. On a standard Yorkie you get 6 chunks in a bar and they are massive chunks compared to a Cadbury's Dairy Milk bar. I would hazard a guess that the chucks ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Ok Girls you can have a piece (445 words)

Yorkie is made by the popular Confectioner Nestle and comes as you can see in a blue wrapper. You can also find Yorkie's in a purple wrapper in the shape of a chocolate and Raisin and Biscuit bar. You might find it a little suprising but Yorkie has been around for 31 years. It was launched to be a rival to the dominance of Cadburys at the time. The main Yorkie bars are 68g which is quite a bit bigger than most of the normal sizes of Chocolate Bars. For instance bars like Aero and Mars are around 50g. Since the launch in 1976 Yorkie has been marketed for men and in 2001 they launched an ad campaign of It's Not for the girls. Yorkie has become one of ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nestlé Yorkie Bar: Biting into a length (281 words)

I do like a nice chunky length to get my teeth into every now and again and fortunately I can eat without putting loads of weight on thanks to my job being active and a few visits to the gym which more than compensates for my chocolate weakness. Yorkie used to be advertised as the chocolate bar for truck drivers and lately it was advertised as not being for women and to be honest the regular version is one I can take or leave as it is not as nice as its main rivals, Cadbury Diary Milk or Galaxy. It cetainly takes a bit of effort to bite into as a single bar is either six or seven large rectangles of solid chocolate however I find it has less of a ...  Read the complete review
