***YORKIE*** This yummy, chunky bar is made by Nestle who are well known for making a huge range of products including ice-creams and confectionary such as Kit Kat, Polo, Quality Street and many more popular sweets and treats. The original chocolate Yorkie bar was launched in 1976, to take on brands such as Cadbury's Dairy Milk and provide a chunky chocolate bar instead of the slim Cadbury Dairy milk Bars. Yorkie bar used to have a total of 6 chunks to the bar and each chunk would spell out the name Yorkie. How-ever now the bar only has 5 chunks and each chocolate chunk has Yorkie engraved on the top of each chocolate piece. Inside the thick chocolate ... Read the complete review

**Introduction** After watching a great Manchester United v Arsenal match which ended in a delightful 2-1 for my team I was feeling a little hungry So I popped into Tesco Express on the way back home and as I was in the confectionary aisle I decided to pick up one of these as I had not had one for a while and knew I liked them so once I got home I unwrapped the enticing wrapper and took a bite into one of the segments of Yorkie Chocolate. Here is my review of the Yorkie Raisin and Biscuit chocolate bar from Nestle. **Raisin and Biscuit** You usually find with chocolate that if you have raisin it is usually with some kind of nut or on it's ... I was dropping my daughters off at trampolining lessons at the local college and as normal I went to get them a drink and a chocolate bar. It is their weekly treat, which I got conned into when they started their lessons. As usual they chose their snacks and went running into the class. With it being half term the lessons were to last 3 hours. With me having missed my dinner (another story) I was feeling rather peckish and so decided to treat myself. I was looking for a very big chocolate bar, not a 60 second wonder and this is when I noticed the Yorkie. Not only that it was only 45p so it was the same price as most of the other confectionery in the ... Read the complete review

I'd not had a Yorkie for ages, so when I saw them in the aladdin's cave that is my corner shop, I thought i'd have one. These are serious Chocolate bars which are pretty chunky and heavy. I couldn't eat the whole one at once, but I did enjoy what I had. Yorkie's area available is a few different kinds, but it is the Raisin and Biscuit one I am reviewing. The Bar is a rectangular Bar that splits into 6 chunks. Each chunk has a letter of the Yorkie on it to spell it out. There is loads of Chocolate in these and I find them a little sickly. They are made by Nestle and I often find that Chocolate sickly in a larger quantity, as it doesn't seem as milky ... Read the complete review

This chocolate bar is not available in many shops although I can't work out why as it's so yummy. It takes the big chunks that engendered the Yorkie slogan 'Not for Girls' and loads them (well, it seemed like more than 13% to me!) with juicy raisins and small pebbles of crunchy biscuit. I've never been a fan of nestle chocolate, on its own, I find it has a strange crumbly texture and a slight oily feel to it. It lacks the velvety meltiness of cadbury's dairy milk and tastes overly sugary (could explain the strange texture) but introduce nestle chocolate to a handful of plump raisins and some short-bread type biscuit bits and you have a chunk of heaven in your ...
