I've had a few NCG soups before and they've been a hit or miss affair. A few I have loved and a few I have hated. This one I hated. New Covent Garden make fresh soups available in the chiller cabinet of the supermarkets and use only fresh ingredients. I think it's a great idea because I love making soup but never seem to get round to it. Each carton is £1.99 for a 500ml tetra pack, enough for two generous portions. They seem to be on special offer permanently in Tesco at 2 for £3 and I see them on buy one get one free a lot too. The packaging tells me that this is a limited edition soup of the month.
