 ... so filling that I could use half as a meal and still be satisfied. The packaging is like a cardboard milk carton and the ingredients are shown on the front. They look a little rustic and I quite like that as they look like good quality soups. They are also fresh so they contain less additives than the tinned soups. I am a huge fan of New Covent Garden Soups and there is rarely a flavour i dislike. As a student I could often find the soups on special in Tesco and Morrisons and because they are fresh soups if I went later on in the day I could often find them in the reduced section to be consumed on the day. Some soups are thicker than others and as a student I often found these useful as I could just bung them in the microwave and five minutes later i had a meal. It does say on the packaging that they serve two but as a meal I always had the whole one and maybe had it in two cups as a snack. My wife loves soup, and although she tries to make her own, time doesn't always allow, so she often buys a few Covent Garden soups to stick in the freezer. She had bought a couple this week, but they have not made it to the freezer yet, She has gone out and I don't feel like cooking much so I'm going to have one of the soups for dinner. Following the directions on the side, I microwaved the carton (opened) for 3 minutes, stirred, then a further 2 minutes. I poured it all into a bowl (greedy I know, a half carton is one serving!) with my buttered bread sat down to enjoy.
