New Covent Garden Lentil & Smoked Bacon Soup

My wife loves soup, and although she tries to make her own, time doesn't always allow, so she often buys a few Covent Garden soups to stick in the freezer. She had bought a couple this week, but they have not made it to the freezer yet, She has gone out and I don't feel like cooking much so I'm going to have one of the soups for dinner. Following the directions on the side, I microwaved the carton (opened) for 3 minutes, stirred, then a further 2 minutes.
