... than not I'm just greedy!). The good news is that it is recyclable. ********** The Price ********** On the pricier end of soups, especially the fresh soup range. A carton costs normally just under £2 although there are sometimes special offers on. If you compare this to supermarket's own fresh soup normally at about £1, and tinned soup at normally about 60p, I guess it's quite a bit more expensive but for a meal it's still not too bad, especially if you'll end up spending more than that in your company c...more

Premium Review New Covent Garden Wild Mushroom Soup: A nice hearty healthy soup for the winter months! (549 words)

New Covent Garden Co offer a big range of soups in the chilled section of the supermarket, and you probably will have seen them take over most of the fresh soup section. I've tried a few different soups in the range now and they're generally pretty tasty. This mushroom soup is a good hearty soup to get stuck into in the winter - it's not the most delicious soup I've ever tried in my life or anything dramatic like that, but when I'm in the mood for this it hits the spot nicely and I'm not disappointed. ********** The Container ********** I find the container a slightly frustrating size, only because soup is something I tend to eat by myself for ...  Read the complete review

Although the combination of white wine and ...  Read the complete review

Recently I wrote about a Covent Garden soup which my wife had bought and left in the fridge: for those who read that review, you'll be pleased to know that my wife was ok about it and just gave her the excuse to go out and buy some more, stopping off at various clothes shops on the way, spending my hard earned cash. That'll teach me a lesson! Last night she cooked dinner, and presented me with another bowl of soup. This one was the wild Mushroom flavour. In my bowl was a mirky brown colour liquid which contained small grey/brown flecks, these turned out to be small pieces of mushroom. The liquid was very runny and slopped off my spoon very easily, ...  Read the complete review
