Advantages: Low in Fat, Scrummy, So many ways to eat them..

Disadvantages: High in calories, a little more expensive than other brands, but totally worth it I think..

With 7 different flavours to choose from there's something for everyone when hunger strikes. New York Bagels are delicious whatever the flavour, there are so many ways you can eat them with endless amounts of toppings, the best thing to do is experiment! You can toast them, leave them as they are, have them for breakfast, dinner or supper. They're perfect for anytime of the day. They're low in fat, and suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians.

There are 7 different flavours of New York Bagels, but currently only 3 on sale at my local Asda, I'm not sure about other supermarkets, flavours may vary depending on where you shop.
The 7 flavours are ; Plain, Cinnamon & Raisin, Sesame, Onion, Multi-Seeded, Seeded Bran and Fruit 'n' Oats.

- Packaging -

The packaging is a simple clear plastic bag with the New York Bagel logo etc on the front including the Statue of Liberty. All the nutritional information etc is on the back of the packet, and it is sealed at the top to keep the bagels fresh. It's recommended that you store them in a cool dry place, and if you freeze them for use at a later date you do so on the date of purchase so they're nice when you defrost them.

- Price -

They're a little more expensive than the own brand bagels but they're totally worth it. At around £1.15p - £1.25p depending on where you shop, it's for a pack of 5 so it's good value for money really.

- Overall -

I absolutely looooove these New York Bagels! You can put pretty much anything on them, you can toast them or leave them as they are. I especially love cream cheese and bacon when theyre toasted. Otherwise I like them plain with a bit of salad.

As stated in quite a few of my food reviews I do like to buy own brand products, but when it comes to bread products and such, I believe that paying a little extra means you'll get better quality. I'm just fussy for bread really. I've tried the own brand bagels and they seem quite dry and hard, whereas the New York bagels are deliciously soft on the inside and have a little glaze on the outside that tastes sweet. They're just scrummy! Although they're low in fat, they're high in carbohydrates and calories so I tend to have them as a treat every now and then.

With the variety of flavours there's something for everyone, unfortunately they only have the plain flavour, cinnamon & raisin and multi seeded at my local Asda but I'm hoping to shop elsewhere to try the other flavours. There's so many different toppings you can put on the bagels and ways of eating them, that I recommend people give them a try and have some fun with food. I'd recommend them to people who already love bagels, or who are curious to try them, there are various other brands out there but I think that New York Bagels are by far the most tasty!

Thanks for reading! :)

Summary: Yummmy!
