***ABOUT NESTLE***
I'm sure many of you will have heard of Nestle who make a great range of confectionary, Ice creams, yogurts, cereals, drinks and other great products including pet food as well. Some of their ice creams include popular and family favourites such as Fab, Mint Crisp, Orange Maid, Rolo, Smarties, Fruit Pastille lollies and more.
Nestle opened their first factory back in 1905 and over the year's Nestle have acquired other famous names including Rowntree's. In 1913 chocolate production began, which included the launch of the famous white chocolate Milky Bar in 1937.
Even now Nestle prove to be a well known and popular brand and one of the top favourite brand's when it comes to ice-creams and confectionary.
***NOBBLY BOBBLY'S***
I always used to have this lolly as a child and have to admit that I still love this lolly now and I am 24 yrs old. It reminds me of my child-hood and my nephew also loves these lollies as well, so we often buy them for him.
These yummy lollies come on a wooden stick and have a yummy chocolate middle which is then coated in a light pink/purple strawberry flavoured ice cream and then on top of this yummy ice cream is a nice layer of chocolate covered in hundreds and thousands.
Each Ice Cream contains the following:
* Fat - 8.2g
* Sat Fat - 3.1g
* Sugar - 18.4g
* Salt - 0.1g
Contains: Wheat Starch, Milk, Whey Powder and Soya Lecithin's.
This product may contain nuts
***APPEARANCE/SMELL***
These come individually wrapped in a bright pink wrapper with Nobbly Bobbly in big bubble writing on front of the packet. You can't mistake this ice cream for anything else because the colour of the packaging is bright and really stands out. At the end of the packaging there is a zig zag cut which makes the packet easy to tear to get the lolly out.
When taking the lolly out of the packet I can smell a very sweet smell and also a light chocolatey smell as well. The lolly just looks like a chocolate lolly covered in lots of colourful hundreds and thousands.
***TASTE TEST***
When licking this lolly it tastes very sweet and is a rough nobbly texture from the hundreds and thousands on the outer side of the ice cream. The chocolate layer has a nice thickness to it and you will often find big pieces of the outer layer coming off. You will also notice that the hundreds and thousands tend to drop off as well when you are eating this. When getting through the chocolate layer covered in hundreds and thousands which is very sweet and melts in the mouth you will notice a pink/purple coloured ice cream underneath. This ice-cream tastes lovely and fruity and hidden beneath this is chocolate flavoured ice cream which is very sweet and tastes so creamy and chocolatey.
This ice cream was very sweet and definitely helped any sweet cravings I might have had. I think is a delicious ice-cream if you like things sweet but if you prefer something more plain and not so sweet I would advise you to try something else instead.
