Advantages: The taste
Disadvantages: None!!!!
I actually didn't even that these were still made but when I popped into Morrisons this week I saw that they were on 'buy one get free'. I was hungry at the time and this is a big mistake when going shopping and I threw a couple of boxes in the basket. There are four in a box and cost £1.99 if they aren't on offer.
The ice lolly consists of a block of chocolate wrapped in strawberry ice cream and the whole thing is finished off with a layer of chocolate that is coated in 'hundreds and thousands'.
This ice lolly is perfect for a child or an adult who still has a little child in them trying to get out (I bet Michael Jackson ate them!). The 'hundreds and thousands' are so appealing to the eye and when I pull the wrapper from the lolly, I am in awe of the colours. Once I have finished taking in what I consider to be a 'wonder of the world', I take lick.
The texture is rough and to be honest it doesn't taste of much other than being left with a sweet taste in my mouth. I take a bit and 'wince' as my teeth hit the ice cream but I persevere until I hit the chocolate which breaks off with the rest of the lolly. There are a mixture of textures in my mouth included a smooth and cold ice cream and a chunky chocolate but also the rough coloured balls which quickly disintegrate with the heat of my mouth.
This lolly has to be one of my favourites because I am a huge chocolate lover. I would choose these over a Fab any day. I find the chocolate to be of a good quality and although it isn't Cadbury's, it still hits the spot. The ice cream is very creamy and has a sweet strawberry taste to it. Both of the flavours compliment each other and when they mix together in your mouth, the whole thing is a wonderful mess of flavours.
If you like chocolate and ice cream and fancy a cold dessert on a warm day then try this, you won't be disappointed!
Summary: I thought they were gone for good!
