... around about £1.30 depending on where you shop. The chilli flavour is mild yet very strong if that makes any sense, I guess what I mean is the flavouring is strong but the chilli being sweet means it is mild as far as the spiciness goes, I hope I am making some sense here. The peanuts are always very fresh and of the highest standard and this really is a delicious snack but beware of the dreaded calories and the fat content. A 40g serving of these delicious nuts contains an unbelievable 214 calories and nearly 14...more

Premium Review Nobby's Nuts Sweet Chilli: Oh you're a sweet nut (515 words)

On a Saturday night in our house, we usually have some form of snack to munch on with a pint of beer or something similar. Our treat this week is Sweet chilli coated nuts. We only bought these because they were on offer at 59p instead of £1.19. For a bag of 140g these nuts really don't last very long by the time a couple or more go into the mouth at a time. I dread to think what I'm ingesting. Nobby's Nuts are fairly new on the popularity stakes in the market, popping up a couple of years ago, advertised by the famous Noddy Holder (the guy from Slade), but in fact they've been around for quite a while. They are actually made by Walkers which i found ...  Read the complete review

I love nuts, any kind of nuts to be honest and at Christmas time my family seem to buy those big bags of different sized and shaped nuts which come in all varieties alongside the traditional salted and dry roasted peanuts which are left on the coffee table for people to help themselves too as they wish. The rest of the year the packets remain in the kitchen cupboard never to see daylight. Nobbys Nuts seem to have replaced the familiar KP Nuts in my local pub, every time I go for a drink it is almost like a sixth sense that when you buy a drink you buy some nuts and sit at a table or stand at the bar and pick at them as you drink. I remember Nobbys Nuts through ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nobby's Nuts Sweet Chilli: Dont be a Nobby, for these nuts. (330 words)

Nobbys Nuts, Sweet chilli flavoured. Having been away for the easter weekend to my sons near the south east coast, was coming back down the motorway, stopped at one of these convenient but expensive garages. Spotted a bag of these Sweet chilli nuts, so brought a bag to share with my family, as a snack to fill the gap until we got home. Obviously being an convenient garage, they do tend to be overpriced on most if not all of their products, but as you do i brought them. Only criticisim i have, is they dont last too long . They are one of those products that once you start eating them they are so adictive, that you have to ...  Read the complete review

I purchased a packet of Nobby's Nuts for around £1.40 from my local convenience store when looking for something different from crisps. I have tried these before (when they first came out) and was a massive fan! Nobbys Nuts are peanuts which are coated in a crispy shell which is flavoured (in this case with Sweet Chilli). The package is easy to open with a small tear at the top to allow you to tear off a corner and start pouring them out. Although the whole that was torn was just not large enough and I did find myself accidentally splitting half the packet open and throwing nuts all around the place (thank goodness I'm female with a ...  Read the complete review

My snack of choice for tonight. I wasn't going to open them till later but in the name of Dooyoo research I must have a few now! The things I do for Dooyoo...... 'Nobbys buts' are a relatively new brand of peanuts, there are many varieties available from your average salted or dry roasted to coated peanuts like these. They come in two sizes, the smaller version is the one found in a lot of pubs these days or a big bag (140g), the one I'm reviewing. Packaging * * * * * * * * * Aesthetically pleasing, a lot of thought has been put into the design and it's made these peanuts very appealing. It's a plastic pouch style bag; the top ...  Read the complete review
