The Box The box is easy to spot as it is bright yellow, with a picture of a bowl of nachos on the bottom. It has a roof on the top of the box with Old El Paso since 1938 written underneath. It then tells you on the right hand side what the kit contains and what to add. It also has the weight of the product which is 520g and the nutritional information for half a box. On the side of the box are the ingredients, full nutritional information, address, phone number and website. On the back are more pictures of different ways to eat the nachos, information about the product and how to cook them. Nutritional Information This is for the people who like ... So we got this the other day from Tesco as part of a mexican theme evening and it was yummy!! It is basically a sort of cook yourself kit which consists of a big bag of nachos, and a pouch of refried beans salsary stuff. You are supposed to add cheese (a neccesity) and then jalepenos, sour cream and guacamole and salsa (all reccomended on the packet) but being poor and lazy students, we only had the bog standard cheese to add. What you do is in an oven dish, put half the chips, then add half the topping, then the other half of crisps, the other half of topping, and in our case, a whole packet of cheese (grated). Then its basically 12 minutes (ish) in the ... Read the complete review

I bought these recently as they were on special offer. I am generally a great lover of mexican food but had always been put off by the nacho dinner kits because I couldnt understand how all the ingredients were to keep fresh in a long life off the shelf product. Nevertheless, during an online shop, I ordered them. Whats in the box: You get a bag of tortilla chips, a pouch containing the 'nacho topping' which is basically a form of refried beans and bag of salsa. What else do you need: Technicallly, the only other thing you need is cheese, but without another sauce such as sour cream or guacamole the nachos can be a bit boring so I would suggest ... Saturday night is treat night in our home, I get a night off from the cooking, the kids get McDonalds and my husband and I usually have a pizza or some other takeaway. However sometimes we like to have something spicy, satisfying and easy to prepare, and my husband even cooks it, we would go for Nachos, tacos or tortillas, usually the Nachos. We tend to have a Nachos kit from Old El Paso in the cupboard. Each kit can serve 3-4 and can be ready in ten minutes, I must admit we are greedy and have the kit between the two of us. The kit contains all the basic ingredients and you can add extras according to what you like. Inside the kit there is a large foil bag of ... Read the complete review

Sometimes, like everybody else, I just can't be bothered to make dinner from scratch and that's when I tend to buy an Old El Paso dinner kit, they come in a wide variety of foods, mostly foreign and with a salsa taste which is fantastic. My husband & I love salsa so they are always the first company we think of then buying a kit. Old El Paso specialise in making Mexican foods in easy to cook forms which are sold all over the world. Because of their unique taste and easy to cook style they have become immensely popular among many people, even those who wouldn't normally eat Mexican food are more likely to try it after buying one of these kits because they ...
