 ... missing from the taste. I still think that Tesco's taste better. ONKEN Natural Biopot is not for me. It is not bad, but I prefer other yoghurts much more, even the Tesco's organic yoghurt is better than this and they have better value. However, they have a website on the packaging that also includes recipies to make using this yoghurt: curries, sauces... so apparently it is suitable for cooking...I will check it out and will come back with further information. I have 1 cup still left anyway....more

I bought 4 cups last week to try them and compare to the Tesco organic or Greek style yoghurts that I usually buy. It seemed like an healthier version of the Tesco brand. I love yoghurt, natural without sugar or fruits. Just plain yoghurt. I often combine yoghurt with my meal or make a yoghurt-cucumber-lemon dipp as an appetiser. I tried to make this dipp using this yoghurt, the result was really weird and the taste was different. It felt like the lemon acid doesn't combine well with the yoghurt. When I started feeding solids to my baby, I picked up some yogurt at my mums advice, and went to town and bought the Lidl brand. I took it home and the baby promptly spat it out, now why would she do that I wondererd, she generally liked new flavours. But then I took a taste of it myself and yuck, It was sour. Oh well, I guess no yogurt for the baby. But a few weeks later a friend recommended Onken, now I hadnt a clue that different natual yougurts had different flavours, I just assumed they were simular, but Onken natural yogurt is smooth, creamy and not at all sour!
