Advantages: Very tasty and perfect with a brew

Disadvantages: High sugar content and not very nice alone

I often seen Oreos on Amercan tv programmes but they were never really available in our supermarkets and i struggled to find them (though recently i've found out they have been in Selfridges for years). Although since last year they are widely available in pretty much every supermarket i go into, and nearly always on offer and cheap :)

So now they are so easy to get hold off i thought i'd try them like they do on tv and dunk 'em my milk (promoted as 'milks favourite cookie' in America)having tried this can't really say its great but i should have known better, i've never dunked in milk before so why try now?
Still having more than half a packet left i tried them my usual way by dipping the oreos in cup of tea... Amazing. Possibly my favourite biscuit now to have with a brew. However one down side i find is they're not very nice when eaten alone quite dry and generally not nice, but its a small price to pay when i can just put the kettle on.

Oreos are packaged in two different ways in the UK
1, a box of 16 where they're individually wrapped in foil packs of 4 (perfect for pack lunches an picnics)
2, the traditional way like most biscuits in a tube design

After eating them i realised they're very sweet and must have high sugar and fat content so here a lil bit of nutritional info for you
Calories per biscuit 51.5Kcal
Carbs of which Sugars 4.3g
Fat of which Sat 1.2g

In future i think I'll be watching how many eat but still they're a really nice snack for with a cup of tea.

Summary: Dunking good fun
