Advantages: Cheap, tasty
Disadvantages: It has a very strong taste
Tesco Lemon Sorbet 500ml. I originally bought this sorbet because I like the Tesco range of food, it tends to be cheaper than the name brands and generally at the same quality. I had wanted to buy the Mango flavour but it appears that they stopped selling that last year which is a shame as it was delicious. However when I tried this sorbet, I wasn't disappointed.
It has a very nice refreshing lemon flavour, it's quite strong and sour which I liked seeing as I enjoy eating lemons, for those of you who don't like strong lemon this may be one to avoid. It does contain 24% concentrated lemon juice, very strong! The taste will last for a few minutes after you've eaten it which is nice because it's a very fresh and clean taste.
The texture is nice and smooth, easy to slide a spoon into and has a nice soothing feeling when you swallow it.
As soon as you open the tub you can smell the lemon because it's so strong, it's a very pleasant smell, perhaps even more pleasant than the taste.
The sorbet itself is a pale yellow colour, not as bright as a lemon, pore like a pastel colour.
The tub it comes in is also yellow with pictures of the sorbet in glasses, along with the Tesco logo, ingredients and all the necessary nutritional information:
The allergy advice is:

Per 50g serving there is:
Calories: 79 which is 4% of your GDA
Sugar: 18.7g which is 21% of your GDA
Fat: 0.4g which is 1% of your GDA
Saturates: 0.1g which is 1% of your GDA
Salt: a trace which is < 1% of your GDA
The price of one 500ml tub is just £1.29 from Tesco. This is quite good value for money as it will last for a few months as long as you keep it frozen.
Overall I think that its great value for money and it tastes delicious too but watch out for it's high sugar levels, one serving is 21% of your guideline daily allowance for sugar.
Tip:
Leave the sorbet at room temperature for about 3 minutes before serving it.
Sorbet is great with meringue or fresh fruit!
Summary: Delicous, I eat it all the time!
