Paynes Poppets Juicy Raisins
I happened to stumble across these in Aldi a couple of weeks back on offer. The cost was £0.65 for 4 packets which I found was a real bargain. My little boy loves these and I don't feel as guilty giving him them knowing that 50% of the poppet is actually made up of raisins.
The poppet's come in a small cardboard box which is about 4 inches by 2 inches. At the top of the box there is a perforated semi circle. This is why they are called poppet's as it actually tells you to pop it in. The chocolate covered raisins are about the same size as 'small rabbit droppings', but a million times more tasty. The chocolate is not too hard and you can really taste the nice milk chocolate. The raisins in the centre are very soft also. I would guess there are about 20 in the box in all, so just enough for a quick snack, for adults and children alike.
