Advantages: Flat for easy storage, cheap, filling, liked by all

Disadvantages: Bad jokes.

The all time favourite lunch box treat, penguin bars must be catching up with kitkat considering the sheer number that must be eaten daily. A multipack of kit kats is a really good way to purchase lunch box treats and the small bars are easily finishable by children with little fuss or mess.

Penguins come in plain chocolate varieties, as well as Orange Chocolate and Mint Chocolate varities and everyone loves the sandwich type build of a Penguin, with the soft chocolate in the middle of the two buscuit bars. Printed on the back of each Penguin bar is an absoloutely dreadful joke such as "Why did the lobster blush?" - "Because the sea weed!!" and really they make you cringe rather than laugh, though reading penguin jokes has become a school pupil tradition and I don't think the bars would be the same if they stopped including the jokes.

Penguin bars are quite flat and so take up the minimum amount of room within a lunch box. The packaging is also simple, just one layer of plastic wrapping, which makes them easy to open for a quick snack. They can be finished in two bites, yet are surprisingly filling.

If you are reading this review because you are considering buying penguins, either to add to your childs lunch box, or to eat yourself at breaks, you will not be dissapointed with this most practical of chocolate bars.
