Philadelphia Splendip with Thai Sweet Chilli ... virtues of this product Kraft came up with a new one, "splendip".

... down the kick. You do get a lot of small rice crackers, and as each can be eaten in two bites, you feel like you've eaten a substantial amount once you've finished. The crackers on their own are quite flat and solid, and taste ok but a bit artificial and dry without the dips. The Philly is always filled close to the top, and is this is my least favourite of the two, I'm not incredibly impressed by this as there is far less chilli dip. However, the chilli is quite spicy and strong, so the creamy dip is good for...more

Premium Review Philadelphia Splendip with Thai Sweet Chilli: A healthier snack food (510 words)

I'm always in a rush in the mornings so I like to throw something quickly in my bag to eat around 10 or 11am, which is when I start to get hungry. Philadelphia Splendips are perfect for this, as they are a light snack I can pick at whilst sitting at my desk - and there's no need for any preparation or extras such as cutlery. The picture above looks weirdly pink; the packaging is actually a lot more red and more appealing. The plastic tub is divided into three sections and has a foil lid across the whole of the top for freshness. Inside, there's a big compartment for the rice crackers, then a small section each for the two dips; one which ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Handy for a quick snack (356 words)

I'd never tried these 'Splendips' until recently. I was wandering around Tesco's picking up a few bits and pieces and was insanely hungry. I've recently been trying to eat less rubbish lately, so opted for one of these Splendips which were in the fridge next to the cheeses. Already being a big fan of sweet chilli dips and sauces I was quite happy with the sound of this one, and at 96p for 76g it was an alright price. After finishing my shopping I was ready to tuck into my snack. The tub is divided into three sections, one larger one for the rice crackers, and two smaller for the Sweet chilli dip and philadelphia. The idea is to grab a cracker and dunk it into ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Philadelphia Splendip with Thai Sweet Chilli: Not THAT Splendip! (292 words)

I got one of these today because I was starving when I was out shopping and am trying to eat healthy this week so I walked past the crisps and got a Splendips. There's a few different ones but I thought the Thai Sweet Chilli one would be more interesting than all the rest in the fridge. You get rice crackers with a portion of Philadelphia and a portion of sweet chilli sauce. You're supposed to scoop up the Philadelphia and sweet chilli with the cracker but there's not enough crackers in there. The crackers are proper dry so you need to get loads of the cheese and sauce to wet them enough to chew without choking yourself. The sweet ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Splendiperous!! (592 words)

Having enjoyed the salsa Splendip in the past, I picked one of these up for my lunch because I'm a little off my food lately and eating a lot less. So along with some fruit this was pretty much going to be my lunch. I was a little worried I wouldn't be too keen on the dip, crackers and cream cheese alone sounding somewhat unsatisfying, as I'm incredibly picky when it comes to sauces. I don't like anything vaguely resembling a chutney, and sweet sauces can tend to end up that way, but fortunately I liked this and didn't go hungry! If you've never seen one, Splendips are a snack container which includes a cracker of some variety, some Philadelphia ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Philadelphia Splendip with Thai Sweet Chilli: Odd Combination!! (473 words)

I love any kind of cheese, it always turns into a snack for me and when products like Philadelphia Splendips come onto the market, they are great to buy as they are normally a lot more low in fat in comparison to a cutting of a chunk of cheese from a big pack as it becomes moreish a by time you have finished you have had way too many calories. Philadelphia Splendips come in all different varieties and the Thai Sweet Chilli one I was not sure whether I was going to like it or not but I will try everything once and if you don't like it you don't have to buy it again, as simple as that. Presented in a plastic pot, with 3 different segments and a silver ...  Read the complete review
