Advantages: Convenient, Good dip portions
Disadvantages: The crackers! Not worth the money.
I'd never tried these 'Splendips' until recently. I was wandering around Tesco's picking up a few bits and pieces and was insanely hungry. I've recently been trying to eat less rubbish lately, so opted for one of these Splendips which were in the fridge next to the cheeses. Already being a big fan of sweet chilli dips and sauces I was quite happy with the sound of this one, and at 96p for 76g it was an alright price.
After finishing my shopping I was ready to tuck into my snack. The tub is divided into three sections, one larger one for the rice crackers, and two smaller for the Sweet chilli dip and philadelphia. The idea is to grab a cracker and dunk it into the philadelphia and sweet chilli is whatever order/ratio you like.
The crackers were very dry, and didn't have much flavour, so I was grateful that you get sufficient portions of the two dips to put a reasonable amount of each cracker with some left over for those who like a little extra. The sweet chilli sauce was nice enough, but a little bland compared to the Blue Dragon sweet chilli dipping sauce I'm used to. The philadelphia was nice and creamy though and went well with the sweet chilli sauce.

Which doesn't make it as healthy as I assumed it would be for something of that size, but it's okay for an occasional quick snack.
Overall it's handy if you just want a quick bite to eat. The crackers really let the whole thing down though, they don't have a very nice texture and even when coated with the dips are very bland. If you're on a diet, or are a fan of philadelphia this is definitely something for you try, but be wary it's not amazing tasting, or value for money. 6/10
