Do you ever feel like you make a rod for your own back? I know I do. In an effort to introduce my young son to as many flavours and textures as possible I have tried out as wide a variety of foods with him as possible. Finding things that are safe for him to eat and that he can manage has been a developing problem. My son likes his food but, if left to his own devices he'd opt for non-chew slop or chocolate cake! I therefore wanted to find things that would encourage him to chew but which would be safe if he tried to swallow prematurely or simply left the food marinating in his mouth. These crisps are made from potato and come in a variety of flavours, such as Cheese & Onion, Ready Salted, Salt and Vinegar, Prawn Cocktail and Tomato. In other countries, flavours include Paprika, Pizza and Sour Cream and & Onion, as well as the flavours we have in the UK. My favourite have got to be the tomato! They are delicious. The crisps are very crunchy and are not of a smooth texture. They are also the shape of a teddy bear, hence the name "Pom Bear". The crisps are manufactured by a company in Northamptonshire called Intersnack Limited. Pom Bear crisps are also widely available in other countries in Europe such as Spain, Germany and Hungary. ...

im a great big daft kid at heart still, despite my age i still love pom bears For anyone who doesnt know pom bears are teddy bear shaped crisps except there not like walkers crisps they are more like a maize snack than a potato crisp, they will melt on your tongue without chewing if you let them unlike potato crisps. These are available in 3 flavours, Salt and vinegar flavour in a blue packet are a bit too vinegary for me, they are strong enough to sting my lips wholst eating them so i couldnt imagine a child likeing this flavour.
