Although this is a general category for Pork Farms pork pies, it's the snack pies I am specifically reviewing. ---Intro, and eating the first pork pie--- With such lovely weather for once I decided that a picnic was in order, so off hubby and I went to pick up some bits and bobs at Tesco. I tend to forget that we have a beach only a mile up the road - Workington is hardly renowned for being a seaside town after all, but very glad I did remember as it was certainly a lovely spot for a picnic. When I was a child one of our Christmas traditions was to have pork pie for Christmas breakfast. Through the years I have met a lot of people who think this was a very strange breakfast but I have also met other people from different parts of the country who also followed, and still follow, this tradition. Sadly , its no longer a Christmas breakfast food for my husband and I, but it is an occasional treat, and if you're going to eat Pork Pie, whatever time of the day, or whatever time of year, it should be the best pork pie, and that is Pork Farms.
