Advantages: much better than the original pot noodles
Disadvantages: cost more!
Review on the big brother of the Pot Noodle Kingdom - Posh Noodle... Posh Noodles are probably the next best thing next to sliced bread. And if you combine them both, and have a posh noodle sandwich, your just getting the best of both worlds now aren?t you you lucky thing! Posh Noodles are a new ?Pot Noodle? based food. It?s the typical boil the kettle, fill to the line and eat kind of process. However, unlike those nasty, chewy Pot Noodles that we all know and a lot of us in the younger generation (especially those at uni!) Posh Noodles are for the, well, how do we say it, people who are willing to spend 20p more on their meal and go all Upper Class. Well it aint really, what Posh Noodle is though is a damn nice snack. They don?t resemble the original pot noodles. The noodles in the new Posh Noodles are much thinner, they are longer and they are a lot softer, just like the noodles you get in packets really. You also get the usual tiny flecks of other ingredients, but these DO taste a hell of a lot nicer than the bog standard noodles. Eating them though is a different ballgame. Pot Noodles were always pretty easy to eat as the noodles weren?t to long, where as with the posh noodles, some effort is actually required on your behalf. Not only do you have to actually wrap them around your fork, but you them have to chew them off aswell, otherwise the noodles seem to be never ending! It?s a bit of a con really, but once you have got over the fact that your going to have slime from the noodles running down your chin onto your nice clean shirt, things are fine and you can get on and enjoy the snack? Enjoy it you will too. The water in Posh Noodles even seems to have a thicker consistency, making the eating much more pleasurable. The taste is good, no bitterness, not to on the strong side. They really are delicious. The noodles are an 'oriental' type noodle. Delicious! Cooking them is easy, basically you have to
boil the kettle and then also pour the water into the pot. Once you?ve done that, relax, 2 minutes of laying around time, but 1 minute will seem like an eternity as your eager to give the concoction it?s first stir?ahh go on then, stir it, give it a good one too. Then, just chill, wait another 2 minutes and it will be ready to eat. Bit on the hot side though, I recommend another 2 minutes of standing time. I can?t remember the fat content, to be honest I don?t care, because I know when I?m eating one of these it doesn?t have the best calorific values out there, I presume it?s better than a King Size Sausage Roll though. I also couldn?t give a damn about the ingredients, it?s nice, so it works for me. Overall, if you like these pot type ?meals? (ok, snacks) these are well worth giving a try. For the Pot Noodler?s amongst us, you?ve probably already tried them, and your probably already converted. It?s an extra 20p, but what the heck, when it?s this nice, live a little!

Thanks for the reminder of how much I hate noodles, in whatever form... so it's back to "rice" whenever there's an either/or !!!
Great read.
