PRIMULA CHEESE SPREADS
I love cheese and love cheese spreads, i usually am searching the stores to get the best price on the Primula range of cheese spreads and recently found them in tescos store for two for £2.00 as they are usually priced at around the £1.20 mark each i got two and find they are absolutely delicious.
The Packet **********
They come in easy to squeeze containers with a screw on lid and i keep mine in the fridge they give a use by date for december and i do have a variety of them in my fridge now, ive tried a few of their rangte and will tell you what i thought.
The container is usually a mixture of colours the background usually is a yellow colour and they usually have a little picture of the added ingredient they have added to this cheese spread, if its cheese and prawns then you get a picture of a prawn, if its the ham and cheese one you get a picture of a sheet of ham and so on.
They copme in handy easy to squeeze tube containing 150g of lovely thick creamy cheese spread.
I use them in a sandwich, on toast on top of dishes i pop into the oven like pasta and on cream crackers or ritz. It is delicious and i have tried the cheaper range but i always come back to this brand as its worth paying a little bit more as the taste is second to none.
My favourite variety and so is my partners is the cheese and ham it is loveloy, cheesy spread with a lightly smoked taste of ham.
I find it makes a change to have on toast and love it in sandwiches just on their own or with a slice of tomato.
Great in a sandwich with a stick of fresh celery too, or a bag of crisps my favourite lunchtime snack.
Or in the evenings as a treat.
Apparently the profits from selling this product go to the Kavil Foundation to support humanitarian projects worldwide, but dont as yet know what these causes are wilol have to look further into it.
The cheese in each tube contains 51 percent, which is good, and also concentrated skimmed milk, butter this one im reviewing has prawns 10 percent contains salt but does mention on the packet that it contains no added flavours, colours but does state is not suitable for pregnant women which is always a good thing to know ( no not going to have any more babies am a granny to seven and have raised four beutiful children) lol.
I enjoyed this spread and never get bored with its lovely creamy texture, its easy to squeese onto nice fresh bread and i wouldnt swap to any other brand.
Thanks for reading and rasting my reviews x
Summary: my favourite cheese spread.
