I looked into the chiller cabinet at my local Farmfood store I had to do a quick double take, I thought I saw a tube of Primula soft cheese with smoked salmon - well my eyes weren t deceiving me, in fact this is one of the latest additions to the Primula range and I paid £1.20 for my standard sized tube. I have always loved the soft Primula cream cheese and I remember it when it was sold in the cardboard box that was shaped like a half a fifty pence piece, that was some years ago. But at some stage Primula decided that it was far better to put their cream cheese into tubes and I can see why, the tubes are easily wiped so that they stay clean and hygenic, they are ... 	Primula Cheese ... is one of my favourite foods and in particular soft cheese and spreads. My number one favourite soft cheese on the market is Primula who produce a variety of flavoured soft cheeses. In their original range they have four flavours: Original, Cheese and Chives, Cheese and Ham and Cheese and Prawn. I am a vegetarian so have only tried the first two listed here. In my review I will focus on the Cheese and Chives variety which is a firm favourite of mine. Primula soft cheese is best known for being sold in malleable, squeezy tubes (although they now also have tubs). The tubes are made of sturdy plastic so never split. 	Primula Cheese ... Party Suzie, as whenever it was brought out, it always meant we would be having what we called a Pick Tea . In each section my mam would put a different food item: biscuits, crackers, cut up hotdogs, the lot. One food I particulaly remember enjoying for my Pick Tea was little crackers, spread with primula cheese. I adored it, definitely a highlight of my meal ! But what is so special about Primula Cheese?
