I have and probably always will have a fondness for crisps. I particularly like crisps and dips. If in need any crisp will do but my favourites are Pringles and Tortilla Chips. Unfortunately the delicious taste of Pringles comes at a price - Fatter thighs! So imagine my delight at spotting a new product on the shelves from Pringles. This is what I am reviewing today. Pringles Rice Infusions at first glance appear to be the same as traditional pringles. They come in the same trademark tall tub and are shaped the same as the traditional ones. This makes them ideal for my favourite pass time of dipping! The Rice Infusions boxes all have a black background with a ... Read the complete review

As you know if you have read my review on Pringles I really got a taste for these over Christmas. Then when some friends visited at New Year I was told about something even better - Pringles Rice Infusions. Now initially I thought these sounded rather odd - crisps made from rice - how was that going to work? I decided to try them simply because they were lower in fat and calories than standard Pringles. When I looked for these in Tesco I came up against my first big disappointment, they are not available in the Original (Ready Salted) flavour. The only other flavour of crisps I actually like is Salt and Vinegar and luckily for me they do come in ... Read the complete review

Everytime I think about writing a review on Food, I just want to get up and start sing 'yummy, yummy, yummy I've got food in my tummy'. But I must add I never do. With these Rice Infusions I certainly don't want to. I remember when pringles first came out. I was about 15 and still remember those first adverts that were made. 'Once you pop you can't stop'. This statement is certainly true. Pringles come in round tubes which are different colours depending on the flavour. The lid is a clear round lid that cn be replaced once you have opened them for continued freshness. If you are anything like me however the lid never gets the chance to be replaced ... I personally cannot stand it when a new range of a product is released that looks so much like the original one that you accidentally buy it. It's the same with Ben N Jerry's Frozen Yoghurt, which I bought by mistake a while back. The new Pringles are almost identical looking to the old ones, and so I accidentally bought a pack of these too! We all know and love Pringles don't we? They're curved crisps in a tube that have strong flavours and are stronger and sturdier than normal crisps. Like pretty much all crisps, they're also high in fat, which is where the new rice infusions come in. The name makes them sound horrible really - thoughts of grains ... Read the complete review

At the weekend I had round for dinner a couple of old school friends. Kate and Clare were two of my closest friends at school and over the last twelve years we haven't seen each other on more than a handful of occasions. I cooked a simple meal and baked a cake but I knew nibbles while we watched a film were a must so i bought some Maltesers and a tube of Sour Cream and onion Pringles. It seems Kate had a similar idea and brought a box of chocolates and a tube of the new Rice Infusion Pringles in Salt and vinegar flavour. During the film the chocolates Kate brought with her got polished off and the Pringles didn't get opened. My other half and I have happily ... Read the complete review
