Advantages: Thicker cut then other crisps
Disadvantages: Too salty
After trying the sour cream pringles and falling head over heels for them the saying 'once you pop you just cant stop' was true I decided to broadn my horizons on the pringle front and try a few other flavours. The first I bought was the salt and vinegar one my logic behind this being that I like the normal salt and vinegar crisps so I should like these.
These like the others come in a tube which hold many pringles, they are a blue design and at the top contain the face of the pringle man which is the logo and also a picture of a pringle. The lid is plastic and clear and pulls off the top easily. Under that their is foil which is too keep the crisps nice and fresh , this too also comes off easily.
The pringles themselves are circular in shape but they cure upward at the edges this makes them appear more 3 dimensional and alot more attractive they are also a thicker cut then other crisps this is great as it gives them a nice crunch when eating.
On opening the top of the tube you are met by a distinct salty smell I wasnt to fond of this and hoped the crisps wouldnt taste quite as bad as the crisps smelt.
The overall taste for me was too overpowering, it had a lot of powder on the pringles which I am taking to be the flavouring however although I liked this in the sour cream flavour to me these crisps tasted of pure salt so bad that after only eating a few of these I needed to go and get a drink. Unfortunately as much as I love pringles these ones just weren't for me. However if you like very salty crisps then you may enjoy them unfortunately I had to throw the rest of my tube away as there was no way I could eat them.
Summary: Stick tothe sour cream flavour
