... Pringles" well if they are cooled thank goodness I didn't try them uncooled! They come in a 150g bag with 25g having 126 kcal so not to bad if you are watching your weight, as unless your mouth is made of asbestos you will not be able to eat to many of these in one go!!! I'll give these 4 stars as if you are someone who likes very hot food then you will like these, but if you don't you would be in for a shock. Don't forget to have a cold glass of Beer, Wine or Water nearby!!...more

Premium Review Pringles Select Thai Sweet Chilli: FEELING HOT HOT!!!! (600 words)

Now I'm a great lover of very salty things, although I know that it isn't to good to have to much salt. I have cut out most salt from my food now so on the odd occasion it is nice to have that old salty taste back in your mouth! Well these Pringles were on special in Tesco's for 50p last week ( well it didn't say special it just had the 50p price tag underneath them ), being I do really love the taste of any Sweet Chilli food I thought I would give these a go. They come in a deep purple bag, a slightly different bag to what you would get other large crisps in. I think these are supposed to be posh crisps and the bag say's that as it sits on the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Great crisps (331 words)

I wouldn't normally pick up something like this for myself, as the bags are big and clearly share size! I'd just open them and start and then suddenly they'd be gone. As happens quite often, I have one of my lovely co-workers to thank for these crispy delights - I'm unsure how much they cost, but you do get a big bag. The packaging is pretty much that of the picture displayed above; however it is very very shony which doesn't come across in the photo. It's kind of glossy, which I think gives it a nice touch and definitely won't leave marks from greasy fingers (this of course is a bad thing if you're looking for evidence of secret ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Pringles Select Thai Sweet Chilli: Yuck. Foul. (426 words)

I wouldn't normally write a review for crisps or the like - but I have to say I felt compelled to add my opinion on these, having bought a packet for the first time yesterday. To my shame I served them up to a group of friends coming round in the evening for a few drinks and a chat and I thought they had been strangely unpopular, having munched a few I now know why! I have to say they are not what I was expecting. Billed as "Select" and from a name I know I thought they would be posh crisps. They are priced as such at £1.58 for a 150g share pack ( a packet of pringles would have been cheaper), and are of similar price to other posh crisps but that ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review feeling hot hot hot (325 words)

I decided to try these share size crisps as they were on offer from asda for a quid. I am a huge fan of Pringles and the new select range looked rather posh. Being a fan of the walker's sensations, I decided to opt for the Thai sweet chilli variety. The description: The crisps come in a 150g posh deep purple bag with a picture of the desired flavouring on the front. The bag is fairly thick with a foiled inside for added freshness. The first thing I noticed about the crisps was there size, unlike Pringles they are a lot smaller in shape and a tad bit thicker. The crisps are very crunchy and on first bite you get a lovely sweet chilli taste however, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Pringles Select Thai Sweet Chilli: Pringles, but not as we know them (296 words)

I bought these in Asda a few days ago as they where on a special offer. 50p for a 150g bag, An offer I just could not refuse as they normally cost around 3 times that. ***The Packaging*** The pack is is thicker than normal foil bag that is crimp sealed at either end to keep them super fresh. The picture on the bag does make them look appealing. The pack is a quality bag, therefor, you'd expect the product to be good quality too. I think the crisps look like mini poppadoms. ***The Product*** On opening the bag you get a nice, strong, but not overpowering smell of spices. The bag is over half filled with ...  Read the complete review
