... ('Once you pop you can't stop') These are very moreish, and it's easy to devastate the contents of an entire tube on your own in a couple of hours! Unfortunately this will account for more than half of your daily allowed calories! The flavour itself is strong, and is definitely more of a cream cheese flavour, as the onion is not obvious at all. Its quite a mild flavour, and is certainly not overpowering. So that's the good stuff. Unfortunately the pricing of these crisps is somewhat erratic, and it's very possible to see...more

Premium Review Pringles Sour Cream & Onion: Pringles...But Who Is That Moustached Man?! (313 words)

I am waiting for the day when they get rid of that moustached man on the tubes. What exactly does he do? He seems to bear no relevance to the snack inside, but at least he looks chirpy enough. In fairness, Pringles have a very strong brand image and there is certainly no danger of glossing over them on supermarket shelves. I went to Tesco last week and was bewildered by how many flavours now exist. The pringles appeared to have taken on an aisle in their own right! One of the original flavours is the sour cream and onion. Now these are not two ingredients you would necessarily want to eat on their own, yet when they come together they produce a taste sensation ...  Read the complete review

I love to hate Pringles, its so true that once you pop you just cant stop! I have just finished a tube of Sour Cream and Onion Pringles and they were frickin awesome! Pringles have been around since 1950's and are sold in long tubes, colour coded depending on colour so you never have to check the flavour "you just know". There is a smiley face man on every Pringles product and he is Mr Pringles. Hes been on these products since 1956. Each Pringle is smooth with a slight curve to it which fits one on top of the other perfectly in its outer packaging. One side of the crisp/potato snack is slightly powdered with its distinctive ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Pringles Sour Cream & Onion: Once you pop... You'll never stop!! (682 words)

Any regular readers of my reviews will be aware by now that I am a total junk-food junkie! I do love my sweeties and chocolate snacks, but on the other hand I do tend to crave all things savoury from time to time so needless to say, there are not many junk food type snacks that pass me by! My other half brought in a few assorted snacks the other day as we had decided to have a bit of a 'chill out' day with a few movies following our return home from holiday. One of the snacks that he purchased was a tube of Pringles, which were the Sour Cream and Onion variety. Having not had these snacks for several years, I was a bit disappointed at first at ...  Read the complete review

Me and my partner tried the light version of these the other day so when I sent him to the shop today he picked these up. He got them from our local Sainsburys Local, however they are available from a huge variety of shops including supermarkets and newsagents. The tube he got weighs 155g however they are also available in a smaller snack pot and now in bags in the form of new mini Pringles. The 155g tube cost £1.59. The crisps come in a tall cylinder cardboard tube. It is predominantly bright green in colour and has a large yellow Pringles logo. There is also a large picture of the ingredients, in this case a large pot of sour cream and some chopped ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Pringles Sour Cream & Onion: pringles dip of the day (236 words)

this has to be my favourite out of the pringles flavours. they belong to the basic pringles range which initially included: original, sour cream & onion and prawn coctail. pringles are very easy to eat and can also be eaten with dips, they are quite often bought to serve as snacks at parties and are generally liked by most people, they are a little bit more expensice than other crisps, but are well worth the extra money. these were originally from the US and were first sold in the UK in the 1990's and have since become worldwide. there are now many different flavours now, including BBQ, hot and spicy, paprika, salt and vinegar, smoky bacon and ...  Read the complete review
