... and flavour to regular potato crisps. They are not as 'crispy', and feel to have more substance that you would expect. In this case the ready salted flavour is quite strong, and these crisps are rather salty. You may find yourself needing a drink, because they are very addictive, and it's not difficult to munch your way through an entire tube before you even realise it! A very simple salt flavour is nicely offset with a subtle potato like flavour which doesn't linger in your mouth too long, and because of it's simplicity...more

Premium Review Pringles Original: Once I pop I certainly cant stop! (544 words)

A tall slender red coloured tube, at the top a picture of a pure white face sporting old timer bushy eyebrows and handle bar moustache, below that the bright yellow letters spelling out PRINGLES! Just writing that description had my mouth watering and I am of course talking about Pringles original or ready salted if you will. I am not a big fan of ready salted crisps as a rule but when it comes to Pringles they are my favourite, I do like the other Pringle flavours too but there is just something perfect about the salty original potato taste of Pringles original that works. The Pringle tube as I described it at the beginning of my review is one that ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Crunch! (719 words)

Pringles are an addictive snack treat for everyone, put a tube of these into anybodies lunch and they will appreciate it. Look Pringles unlike most crisps which come in bags, come in a cylindrical tube. The tube is the colour of the flavour you have chosen, my tube is the Original flavour and is red. It is very easy to spot on the shelves, not that I would have a problem finding them even if they were hidden! On the front of the tube you have the Pringles man, well just his face. It is white with a moustache and no mouth, very distinct. Underneath that you have the Pringles logo in yellow and below that if you haven't figured it out by the colour, you ...  Read the complete review

So there I was buying lots of goodies for Christmas and I was looking for 'nibbles' - you know the sort of thing - crisps, nuts etc and I saw the Pringles were on offer at our local Costcutter. Now I have never been particularly keen on these, preferring ordinary crisps but I know hubby likes them so I got a couple of tubes. Anyway we opened one of the tubes whilst we were all sitting watching TV the week before Christmas and guess what - I loved them! I don't know why I didn't like them before. Strange how our tastes change isn't it? When we went into Tesco for the final shop they were on offer there too - buy one get one free - so I bought another ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Once you pop you find your self with an empty pot (567 words)

I'll start this by admitting I'm a very picky eater so don't expect comments on how nice the cheese and onion flavour makes my stomach turn and my face scrunch up in a repulsive fashion as though I'd been given a rotten egg, as you won't get another mention of the flavour. You will however get plenty of mentions of the salt and vinegar flavour (which is the only flavour of pringles I eat until they start making smokey bacon or roast chicken ones). Pringles, the crisps with the weird head as their logo and a tube as their erm...package (strange to think of crisps not coming out of a pack/bag, isn't is?). The weird gimmick of this isn't as functional as ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Pringles Original: All the fun of Pringles without the dreaded salt (852 words)

These are my thoughts on Pringles, in this case the Rice Infusions: Following on from new Multigran crisps (You may have tried the multigrain Hula-Hoops), Pringles have introduced a new range made from mostly rice. If, like me, you gave up eating Pringles a while ago because they made you feel like you'd just ingested a cup of salt, you might be interested in this news. Everybody is a bit more health concious now, especially in regard to salt levels in food and Pringles have sensibly attempted to provide a healthier range. Rice based snacks have long been a staple of the diet/health food market and while I had no idea you could make crisps from ...  Read the complete review
