Pringles Original

Description: Manufacturer: Procter & Gamble / Type: Crisps / Pringles potato chips.

Pringles first arrived in Britain in 1990 and have been a firm favourite since then. If you haven't tried them yet, they are a crunchy potato snack and come in a solid red tube with quite distinctive packaging. They are also heavily advertised with their "once you pop, you can't stop" catchphrase. Unfortunately, this is true and there is something moreish about these snacks, meaning that you do find yourself eating a few more, then a few more, then just a few more!

As with most snacks of this type, they are not particularly good for you though, nutritional information is as follows;

Ingredients

Dehydrated potatoes, vegetable oil, rice flour, wheat starch (gluten free*), maltodextrin, emulsifier: E 471, salt.

Portions per 165g package: 6.6
Portion size: 25g
Energy 548 kJ (131 kcal)
Protein 1.0g
Carbohydrate 13g
of which sugars 0.36g
Fat 8.4g
of which saturates 1.8g
Fibre 0.65g
Sodium 0.13g

These snacks are delicious though, despite not being very healthy. They are great on the own and even better with dips (beware, their shape means that you can really load them up, which is nice but again, not very good for you!). They come in a wide variety of flavours though I prefer the original salted ones best.

Give them a shot, you will like them, and good luck with only eating a few at a time! I have given this product 4 stars as they taste great but are not very good for you.

Summary: Try them soon
