While the mornings are a bit nippy I usually have Oats So Simple Golden Syrup flavour for my breakfast but sometimes I fancy a change and then I have the original version and put a spoonful of St Dalfour Strawberry Jam in the middle. It is basically porridge which can be made in 2 minutes in the microwave. Yes, I know porridge is easy enough to make anyway but this is REALLY easy and that suits me well especially first thing in the morning! The first thing to say is that it is made by Quaker so we know straight away that it is going to be good. The cereal comes in boxes of 10 and 20 sachets and currently cost about £1.40 and £2.70 ...

This is my current favourite breakfast cereal simply because it is OATSO so simple to make!!! Each box that you buy either comes with 10 or 20 sachets in it. These contain 27g of oats which is a perfect amount for one bowl of porridge. This is excellent as you don't need to worry about weighing out the correct amount of oats and it saves loads of time in those hectic mornings! Simply rip off the top of the sachet and pour into a heat proof bowl, add the milk and microwave for 2 - 2.5 minutes. The convenience of the sachets does not stop there though! Inside they have a line marked near the top which tells you how much milk to use which I find incredibly ...

I do like to have a bowl of porridge in the mornings every now and again and sometimes to give mysel a change I will use Quaker Oatso Simple. These come in small individual satches within a larger box and I do find that one satchet is enough at breakfast time. To prepare pour the satchet contents into a microwaveable bowl and stir in 180ml of semi skimmed milk. Then all you have to do is microwave it for two and a half minutes and then leave it to sit for a further minute.
