Advantages: Lots of different flavours
Disadvantages: To temptating just to eat one
A tin of quality street are regularly available at Christmas in a 1.2kg tin which includes they wrappers my family but them at christmas for £5 and sometimes 2 for £5 I have known this to be at Tescos. The first thing I want to say about a tin of Quality Street and the reason I think they are such a great thing to buy is that they are great to share. Buying a tin and we put them in a glass container on our coffee table and then therefore when people come around visiting with Christmas presents and just to say hey around this time of year when you get a lot of visiters its a nice thing to offer them.
Quality Street have many flavours and its amazing as I am they only person in my family who like most of them. The flavours are:
Toffee deluxe - which is in a brown wrapper and is toffee which a chocolate coating
Milk choc block - which is simply as it says in a green wrapper and is a plain block of chocolate
Coconut eclair - which is not one I personally like but is in a blue wrapper and is coconut covered in chocolate
Toffe penny - Is in a golden yellow wrapper and is just a piece of round toffee
The purple one - which is in a purple wrapper and was one of the first to be made into the bigger range known as the big purple one and is chocolate with a nut and caramel centre
Orange chocolate crunch - which comes in a orange wrapper and is chocolate with a crunchy orangey centre
Strawberry delight - comes in a red wrapper and is chocolate with a cream centre which tastes like strawberry
Orange creme - just like a strawberry delight but comes in a orange wrapper and has a creamy centre which tastes like orange
Vanilla fudge - which comes in a pink wrapper and is chocolate with a vanilla centre
Caramel swirl - which comes in a gold wrapper and is chocolate with a caramel centre
The green triangle - Is one of my favourites which is chocolate with a praline centre and nuts
Toffee finger - in a yellow wrapper is toffee covered in chocolate and in a long kind of finger shape
Quality streets are a great small treat which are perfect to share. Many quality streets now come in a bigger range such as the big purple one, a big green triangle and a big caramel swirl. The only problem I have with Quality Street is that once you have one I just can't stop especially if you have a big tin its very good for picking as you walk by. I often find myself eating them on the way to the kitchen. However despite this quality street are an amazing treat and I therefore will not reduce the rating due to my own temptations.
Summary: Yummy Yummy chocolates
