I first bought this product around two months ago in Tesco, they cost around £1.99 for a 350g bag which contained about 6 peices. I always buy a bag of chicken in my weekly shop as you can do soooo much with them. I use them for salad, stir-fry, breadcrumb them, make curries with and much much more. So, my eye was caught by ... I have always been a vegetarian and I love these quorn pieces. Some people may say its hypocritical to eat them but I find the meat substutute products like this the best way for me to get the protein that I need. These 'chicken' pieces are quite healthy and they are approved by the vegetarian society. They are high in protein and low ... Read the complete review

I have been a vegetarian for over 15 years now, and in that time I have tried almost every product Tescos, Asda and Sainsbury's sell and almost everyone that Quorn and Linda McCartney make. As a result of my very thorough investigations (!) these Quorn chicken pieces have been a staple part of my freezer and diet for years ... Read the complete review

I was a vegetarian for around 8 years and for health reasons I found myself switching back to eating some meat products and just trying to up my intake or iron and protein in general. I have now been eating meat for around 6 years and I've still been buying the odd vegetarian product, especially ones that I've really enjoyed before or ones that ... Read the complete review

I am a big fan of all the Quorn products for a long time now, but lately they have been releasing a lot more variety. I have been a vegetarian for around 13 years, but have never really eaten much meat anyway. These Quorn Chicken Style Pieces are a really handy thing to keep in the freezer. They come in really useful for mixing into ... Read the complete review

Another classic freezer staple food. What would us vegetarians do without Quorn? Bite sized chunks of soya protein which, although they have no real flavour of their own, soak up marinades and sauces very well indeed. The texture is chewy and surprisingly filling, or 'protein-y' as I like to call it. After eating these, you really feel ... Read the complete review

My mate's a vegetarian and she sometimes cooks me dinner and last night she did a stir fry that looked delish but I couldn't think why she had put so much chicken on her plate. She told me they weren't proper meat and were Quorn Chicken Style Pieces that you can cook straight from the freezer and use them any time you would need to use chicken ... Read the complete review

I tried quorn many years ago & hated the rubbery texture & the taste of it so it was something I've avoid buying -until,that is,a few weeks ago when my younger daughter requested some chicken quorn. She's been a fussy eater for most of her life so I must admit that I was pleased she was willing to try something different. I ... Read the complete review

I'm no vegetarian, but seeing as my girlfriend is, every so often I'll see her eating them and get a little curious. I LOVE Chicken - it's one of my staple foods in actuality, and I was interested, and rather skeptical, that Quorn, whilst quality (I'd tried their mince previously and was pleasantly surprised), could replicate the strange and ... I'm not a vegetarian but lately I've been trying various Quorn products! Quorn is a brand of non meat foods such as mince and chicken. One of the products I've recently tried is the Quorn style chicken peices Quorn products are available in all supermarkets such as Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury's. depending on what product it is you are ... I always buy quorn chicken style pieces rather than other brands, even though it is a little more expensive. The asda version has a much more chewy texture and also contains palm oil, which I like to steer clear off. Quorn on the other hand has a chicken like texture and taste and few ingredients, being mostly made of mycoprotien. It is healthier ... Read the complete review

I absolutely love these! I am not veggie but I eat a lot of veggie meals because it cheaper and healthier than eating meat all the time. I also find that this means that my husband who is a complete carnivore can eat meat more often as it keeps the cost down. Eating Quorn rather than burgers etc also means my weight stays more ... These should be a staple in every vegetarian's freezer! I have been veggie for seven years and love Quorn products. I mostly use the chicken style pieces in stirfrys, enchilladas, fajitas and curries. Quorn is made from Mycroprotein which is apparently from the fungi family. Although I absolutely HATE mushrooms with a passion, it's ... Read the complete review

Here is a quote from the Qlever people at Quorn; "We believe that healthy eating should be yummy as well as good for you. The other day I decided I fancied a curry for tea that night. I am not much of a cook but I thought I would give cooking one a try. I had some rice in the cupboard so I went off to Teso to get some chicken and a curry sauce. I looked at fresh chicken and thought it looked quite expensive and fiddly so I went to the freezer section and ... Read the complete review

Quorn Chicken Style Pieces have to be one of the most versatile meat substitute products on the market, and I always ensure there's a bag in my freezer. Quorn is not something I had ever even heard of before coming to the UK, but I decided to give it a go one day as I was unable to find meat similar to that which I was used to in Australia. Cost ... I've written before about my vegetarianism, and had a little mini-rant about the reasons why and the like. I'm not a militant veggie, that's for sure. My husband to be would eat a cow if it walked past slowly enough. However, I am proud of my choice, and very pleased to be a veggie. Morally, it feels like the right thing, but more than that - ... First let me say that I am not a vegetarian! I was looking for ways to cut down the weekly shopping bill, and with meat being so expensive I looked at vegetarian alternatives. Back in the spring of 2003 something happened to me, I became an accidental vegetarian. As ridiculous as that sounds it wasn't something I originally set out to do (if you must know I realised that by chance I hadn't eaten meat for a few days and decided to see how long I could keep it going for). Although towards the end of my meat ... Read the complete review

I have a terrible confession, after harping on about how much I hate Quorn An how awful it is! I last night ate and enjoyed a Quorn Curry! In my defence, I was tricked into eating it, because it was served to me under the false pretense of it being a Chicken Tikka Masala, and not a Quorn Tikka Masala! It was like being 12 ...
