Quorn Deep Filled Mince & Onion Pies

My boyfriend picked these up when he was doing the weekly food shop last month. I'm vegetarian (he is not!) and although I do like Quorn products, this is not something I would have chosen myself, simply because I don't like the idea of a product that looks like meat! However I thought I would give them a try seeing as they appeared in the freezer! You get 4 pies in the box, each in a little foil container. If you like other Quorn products, such as the cottage pie then these pies, which come in a pack of 4 are frozen, and take about 40-45 minutes to cook from frozen to get the puff pastry top golden brown. Make sure you do wait until the top is fully browned as the bottom is otherwise rather soggy. The majority of the taste is in the onion gravy which doesn't overpower the rest of the food on your plate, merely complementing it and there is enough filling in the pies to spill out nicely when you cut into the pastry.
