janey-poo Quorn Roast: ... meat eaters wouldn t even consider eating Quorn products, what s so good about some vegetables in a roll that is supposed to taste like chicken? I ve tried many quorn products, and would say that this is definitely one of my favourites - it is very tasty, and the taste is definitely very similar to chicken. Unlike some where the flavour doesn t seem to resemble meat, this definitely does. The main ingredient of...

CheekyCharlie08 Tesco Christmas Steam Brussels Sprouts with Bacon & Shallots
... mum brought these ready prepared sprouts from Tesco to go with Xmas dinner, she never goes to the stress of buying and peeling her own because she hates them with a passion and only buys them for my aunt and cousin! lol These ones come in their own pot and can be microwaved in a few minutes so that makes them ideal when you re cooking a massive meal like Xmas dinner. They don t smell as putrid as boiling sprouts and I was happy to go into the kitchen while these are cooking! When they were done I told my mum that I d have a couple on my plate to try because the smell of bacon was lovely and strong on them. I m not a fan of brussels sprouts but these weren t THAT b...

Citylights Heinz Baked Beans Pork Sausages
... these should really be a lot better than they actually are and I think Heinz are missing a trick here by not giving the consumer more quality to the item. First of all you get loads of sauce. Now I know there are people out there who love their food swimming in sauce the sort of peole that smear mayonaise all over their sandwich so you cannot taste anything else. Those of you out there might like this. For me its not good. I end up having to drain the sauce out of it. Once its drained Im left with 3/4 of what I purchased. What I am also not happy about is the fact I never seem to get many sausages. Maybe 4 or 5. They are not very big either so once I have empted i...

Emmald Heinz Curry Beans
... beans may seem a bit of a dull thing to review but I am sure that most of us quite enjoy baked beans on toast for a snack meal or a quick supper. If you are going to really enjoy baked beans then more often than not a good brand name is the only way forward. I am rather partial to the Branston baked beans and I can often find them on offer at a very good price - in fact as little as 25p a tin. Heinz have a whole range of baked beans with a difference and the Curry Beanz are one of them. We used to enjoy these curried beans a few years ago but I thought that they had been taken off the production line until I spotted them in Sainsbury s. Now the Heinz Curry Beanz ...
