The aroma from the crisps is overwhelmingly of the sunflower oil in which they are cooked; if anything they smell a wee bit greasy.
But they don't taste greasy, oh no, the smell is very deceptive, these crisps are extremely tasty and pack a hefty spicy punch.
They are beautifully crunchy with a whallop of fiery chilli and black pepper which initially catches the back of your throat and clears out those airways very nicely. The garlic flavour is more subtle, the chilli for me was definitely mor...more |

I don't normally write food reviews but I simply felt I had to share these wonderful crisps with the world. Real appear to be attempting to be to crisps, what Innocent are to smoothies (albeit on the slightly unhealthy side!) Their packaging is a bit quirky with amusing text and quips, and there are no artificial flavours, colours or flavour enhancers in this product. So what are they? "Hand cooked crisps seasoned with a spicy tomato, garlic and onion flavour" These are proper crisps, thicker than your normal mass produced crisps, more on a par with Kettle Chips and other hand ...
