Red Sky West Country Bacon & Cream Cheese Crisps

Description: Manufacturer: Red Sky / Type: Crisps

Newest Review: ... good. You could really taste the bacon but it wasn't offensive like some bacon crisps can be, it was almost sweet. The cream ... more

... cheese was a nice soft taste to tone down the bacon. The flavour was big too, so you don't have to get to the bottom of the pack to actually get any of the flavour. The packaging is very effective. The Red Sky logo is on all of them and the picture id actually a sky over a hill which is very nice. The other flavours have a slightly different colour sky but always quite a believable colour. At about the same price as Walkers SEnsations and Kettle Chips, these are a good buy....more

Premium Review Red Sky West Country Bacon & Cream Cheese Crisps: VERY VERY CRUNCHY CRISPS (268 words)

I'm more of a Crisp person than a Cake girl, and like to try out new flavours of Crisps when I see them. I spotted these Crisps in Tesco next to the Kettle Chips bags, and this 100g bag cost me £1.45. The same price as most other premium brand Crisps, and much the same quantity. The pack is a thick pack. It is easy enough to open at the top, but a little stiffer feeling packet that cheaper bags. The colouring on the bag is a merge of yellow and red with the writing in black. A nice looking bag and it looks quite expensive. On the bag is states that these Crisps are made with 100% natural ingredients. When you open the bag you get a nice scent of the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review 100% Full of Flavour (467 words)

Maybe it is just me but there seems to be a lot of new variety of 'Posh' crisps brands at the moment which cost a lot more money than normal brands of crisps. My brother picked these crisps up in Morrissons they were £1.49 for a 150g or 2 for £2, seeing as he was visiting my house I of course asked him if I could try his crisps! The first thing I noticed about the pacakaging is that the bag feels very papery, on the front of bag is an orangey/red sky scene with a picture of a tractor and you can just make out a house and trees. Opening the bag I could straight away smell a bacon flavour crisp but there was no smell of cheese, the coating ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Red Sky West Country Bacon & Cream Cheese Crisps: Red Sky At Night Is Charlie's Delight! (258 words)

I've just had a wicked bag of crisps and I've never seen them before so I thought they must be new but now I look there are already a few reviews about them so I must be behind the times! The flavour is West Country Bacon & Cream Cheese and they are delish. They taste a bit like smoky bacon crisps but you can taste the cream cheese and that makes the crisps less salty and makes they feel a bit creamy to eat even though they're proper crunchy crisps. They have got a nicer texture than Walkers crisps because they're a bit thicker and have got a wicked crunch as you eat them. My favourite ones are the crisps that have folded over the top of each ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Red Sky at night - my delight (521 words)

I was doing my weekly shop today at the Co-op and I fancied something savoury. Wandering down the crisp aisle I spied something I hadn't tried before. The flavour of the crisps is what jumped out at me first - West country bacon and cream cheese. I am a huge fan of both so what could be better than a crisp that combines the two? I paid around £1.40 for a 150g bag of these so not that cheap really. Packaging: Red Sky potato chips come in a 150g bag made of paper that kind of feels waxy. The inside is a sort of silver foil. It is yellow and red with a silhouette of a farm on the bottom. Looking at the packet I am pleasantly surprised to see that their ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Red Sky West Country Bacon & Cream Cheese Crisps: Yum yum, Pigs Bum! (670 words)

I decided to give these a go when I saw them on offer in my local Tesco; two 150g bags for £2, (usually £1.47 per bag). Red Sky crisps seem to be the new kid on the block, and I assume, a rival to Kettle Chips (which I'm not a fan of); therefore it is unlikely that I would've bought these if they hadn't been the only crisps on offer at the time. Red Sky crisps also come in smaller 40g bags (around the 60p mark), and currently the only flavours I've come across are the bacon & cheese, and sea salt flavours. **Product** The packaging is fairly distinctive, and yes the colouring does somewhat resemble that of a red sky. ...  Read the complete review
