Until coming across some of the other reviews for Reggae Reggae Sauce earlier this morning, I didn't know of the "Dragon's Den" story (probably because I don't watch it) or of Levi Roots or indeed anything about it other than its taste. Earlier this year, I undertook a fairly drastic change to my diet - out went the mild but fattening Scottish stodge and the more-than-occasional carry-outs. Instead, I started (and found I really enjoyed) cooking, mostly vegetarian. In this strange new world of boiling or sauteeing plant fibres, I found out pretty quickly that you can't really ignore spices and sauces: and this is where Reggae Reggae comes in. My ... Reggae Reggae sauce is something quite unique, I will go into much greater detail later on in this review. But for now I will tell you where Reggae Reggae came from and the person behind it. **Where's it from?** Levi Roots is the man behind this amazing sauce, There is a TV show called "Dragons Den" If you have not heard of it, basically people go on there to get funding for a business or product and to help them get there foot in the door relating to getting the business up and running. He got funded and within 6 weeks his sauce was on the shelves and you can find it in most supermarkets. He started making the sauce ... Read the complete review

After trying Birds Eye chicken chargrills with reggae reggae sauce weeks ago they persuaded me to go out and buy myself a bottle for the first time ever. I remember seeing Levi Roots on Dragons Den a few years back introducing his own families sauce, Reggae Reggae sauce Jerk/BBQ in fact. Not long after that it was on some of the top shelves in top supermarkets I noticed the other day in Sainsburys it was a third off so decided to buy a bottle, costing me just 98p whilst on this offer. It comes in a 310g see through glass bottle with a black screw off cap. A yellow sticker is wrapped around it with the jamaican theme colours green, yellow ... Read the complete review

I am a total BBq sauce fan! I have it on almost everything from toast to Sunday dinners and I drive people mad with my addiction! I'd never seen of heard of this one when my Mum bought it home for me way back and couldn't wait to get stuck into it! The Packaging.... 310g glass see-through bottle with a plain black screw on/off to the top of it. On the front there is a red, yellow and red label and on there there is a picture of a dread-locked man and I'm told it it Levi Roots Reggae Reggae Sauce Jerk/BBq and to 'Put some music into your food'. Around the back of the label I'm told a bit about the product, ingredients and allergy advice is given as ... Read the complete review

I am a fan of anything that is BBQ related (yum yum!) and when I finally saw this on the shelves of my local Tesco store at just 96p I could barely contain my excitement! I promptly picked up one of the 310g bottles and put it in my basket along with some chicken, tortillas and a packet of fajita seasoning. Reggae Reggae Sauce is a Jamaican jerk spice made by Levi Roots' who appeared on the 2007 series of Dragons' Den and convinced two of the dragons to put some money in to his business for a stake in his company. Since then the product was initially taken on by Sainsburys' but it is now widely available in most of the big four supermarkets. Reggae ... Read the complete review
