Advantages: Lots of choice

Disadvantages: For some, coffee

A lot of people criticise Revels because they don't like all of the flavours (I know lots of people who find the coffee flavour absolutely repugnant, yet I hate coffee and actually like the Revel flavour of it!), but to me that's all the fun - it's a chocolate game of Russian roulette, and you'll never be quite sure what you've gotten.

The various different types are as follows - Minstrel (it's just like a Minstrel, but it doesn't have a crispy shell, and so is all just soft chocolate), Toffee (hard and chewy, but not too chewy), Raisin (my least favourite, but the raisin taste is mostly covered up by the pungent chocolate), Malteser (strangely they managed this without a lawsuit of any kind - I sometimes wonder if they just buy a bag of Maltesers when manufacturing and just dump it straight from that bag into the Revels bag), Coffee (the most famously maligned, but it has a nice, strong taste, and is among my favourite in the bag), and Orange (the one most people like - very potent and very delicious).

If you want a change, Revels is the way to go - if you're bored of other "samey" chocolate bars, then this is the one for you, offering variety and a great taste to boot!
