Advantages: Tastey, sweet

Disadvantages: Coffee ones - not so nice

As a chocolate lover, there aren't many choccy sweets I dislike - but Revels are some of my favorites.

*PRICE AND AVAILABILITY*
These little packets of deliciousness, are available in most newsagents, supermarkets, corner shops etc, and cost around 35 - 50p depending on the store.
This price is what I would expect to pay for a bar of chocolate these days - not too expensive then.

*PACKAGING*
I easily notice the Revels on the chocolate stand as they come in a bright orange packet with REVELS emblazoned across the front. The bags contain 35g and I don't consider them to waste packaging as it is a small enough bag.

*NUTRITION*
No chocolate is going to be healthy or low fat, and a packet of Revels will give you 168 calories and 7.3g of fat. This is quite a lot of fat to be putting into your body as a treat, so just be careful not to eat these every day.

*TASTE*
The beauty of Revels, is that each individual sweet has a different centre coated in yummy chocolate.
Some are like Maltesers, some are orange, coffee, peanut, toffee or plain chocolate. Orange ones are my favorite as I love the texture of the filling as well as the taste, and it goes really well with the chocolate coating.
All except the coffee ones taste fab, and although I dislike the taste of the coffee fondant filling - it doesn't put me off buying as you can have fun playing dodge the coffee one.
I am very happy with the taste of these sweets.

*MY VERDICT*

I love eating Revels and would do so every day if it wasn't for the fact that they are full of fat and sugars.
What make sthem special is that you can get a different flavoured filling each time, soyou don't get bored with the flavour.
The price is average and they are available most places, even now in big bags in cinemas.
I wouldn't call these my favourite sweets, but they are definately in my top ten.

Summary: Yum Yum

I adore the orange ones! I can even put up with the coffee flavoured ones if I eat them with a handful of others lol.
