Advantages: Some are nice!

Disadvantages: Some are awful!

If you like a bit of variety in your life then Revels will be the sweet snack for you!

The Good
Revels can tingle your taste-buds and there are a lot of different types, which is great for those of you who enjoy a lot of different types of sweets and flavours. It includes everyones favourite Malteaser chocolates. There are also chewy toffee, chocolate raisins, plain chocolate discs, chocolate orange and coffee.

The Bad
The most unpopular (based on reviews I have read, and opinions of family and friends) coffee revel is not very enjoyable for most, and as it is the exact same shape as the orange you have to bite into it to decipher if it is the orange or the coffee. I suppose the same could be said for any type of revel you detest as it can be hard to discover which revel is which flavour until you taste it.

My Experience
I suppose it is hard to write a review on food, because people's taste-buds are totally different, so someone could agree with me totally, and some could think I am talking a load of rubbish! So, just so you all know, this is just my own opinion. I despise the coffee revels, and I am not fond of the raisin ones either. I find the lain chocolate discs lovely, I let them melt in my mouth! Obviously I am a fan of the classic Malteaser, and I enjoy the chewy, tasty toffee one! The orange one is very interesting, with the same texture as the coffee sweet, but has a nice sweet flavour - which I happen to enjoy! The reason I have only given Revel's 3 stars, even though I only dislike two of the chocolates, is because I think they are two...mixed (?) ... for me! Call me boring, but I like knowing what I'm about to eat, and I don't particularly think all the flavours go well together!

Price-Wise
Just an average price for a standard bag - not exceptionally cheap, but not ridiculously over priced. I can't remember off the top of my head, but I think at most stores they are 45-50+p...

All in all...
As mentioned, it all depends on your taste-buds. I'm not such a great fan, but I will eat them if they're available, what with me being a chocoholic and all...but anyway, I have mentioned all the flavours and hope you can decide for yourself if you think you'd like them! If you like a bit of variety, then give them a go!

If You Like These, Try...
Mars Planets, Malteasers, Poppets, Chocolate Raisins, Quality Street, Roses

Website
They don't have one, apart from when they're doing that eviction thing...
