Advantages: Tasty

Disadvantages: Price, Amount you get in the packet

I've just fininshed a little packet of revels off and to be honest I was a bit disappointed.

I love revels and I'm sure you used to get more in the packets when I was little. The price label on the packet says 41p but there's an offer on at our local newsagents, and they are buy three packets for 89p so I suppose that's a little saving. Still 41p for a 35g packet which you only get about 15 revels in it is a bit of a rip off.

The packets have been jazzed up a bit, they are a nice trendy stripey orange and brown, but just because they have jazzed up the packet doesn't mean to say they can up the price.

When you open the packet the nice smell ogf chocolates hits your nose and your mouth will start watering, inside there are five different flavours, but it is not guaranteed that you'll get all the flavours in the packet.
Today in mine were no coffee one's, not that I'm complaining but I think they should have an even amount of the chocolates inside the packet which are advertized on the outside of the packet.

You could get chocolate's which have orange cream centre's, these are my favorite I love the strong orangy taste, they are quite big and the centres are a fondant that melts in your mouth.
There is also a peanut centre, so do be careful if you have a nut allergy, really I'd steer clear as the other chocolates could have traces of nut in them.
The Maltesers one's are just like you'd expect, biggest in the packet and easily recognised as malteses.
Coffee, which is like the orange one's only coffe fondant instead of orange, this also melts away but not many people seem to like these. Maybe that's why they miss them out sometimes.
The chocolate one is just that, an oval flat chocolate which can be sucked slowly to melt on your tongue.
I like them all and have been choosing revels as a treat for years.

They are made by Masterfoods who make lo
ts of other chocolates. I think to be fair they should put at least three of each of the chocolates advertized on the packet inside the packet. As well as dropping the price a little.
This is my only complaint, as there's not enough to share around and I like to share my chocolate's.

When we were little they used to put a coconut fondant in as well, I'd like to see this one returned to the packet.

Are you old enough to remember them?
