Ritz crackers are a big favourite of mine but I find it hard to resist eating more than just one or two. They can be eaten with various toppings but I find that they are just absolutely fine on their own!

Ritz Crackers come in a red box with eight crackers shown in the image on the front. The recyclable cardboard pack is easy to open - as is the cellophane inner bag.

The packaging seems to ensure that the contents are fully whole when the box is opened and that you can keep them fairly crisp - unless you eat them all at one go.

Ritz are a great size; small enough to fit one into your mouth without having to bite and big enough to satisfy you.

They are a golden baked colour that is quite mouthwatering and they have an oily texture. This makes them sound horrible - but the texture makes it possible to eat the crackers without your mouth feeling like you have been walking in a desert (so dried out). They are very salty too - so when eating them you need to be swilling down some pop or water. Even though they are salty, they have a sweet taste too - which is weird. Maybe that is why I like them so much.

Wheat Flour, Vegetable Oil, Sugar, Raising Agents (Ammonium and Sodium Bicarbonates, Disodium Diphosphate) , Salt, Glucose Syrup, Barley Malt Flour.

The crackers are made in a factory that handles ingredients that can cause an allergic reaction - and there is information about this on the box.

There is nothing really that is very healthy eating about these crackers; they are junk food in my opinion.

Eight biscuits are a serving. This will give you 133 calories.

There are many toppings you can put on these crackers - soft cheese is good or mushroom pate. I tried putting jam on once - but it didn't work out very well! Ultimately, I like to just stuff my face with them bald.

Ritz Crackers are on cost around 88p at supermarkets. Occasionally, you can get a 2 for 1 offer - which represents excellent value but is too tempting.

Four stars because I like them so much but they are junk.

Summary: Alright once in a while as a treat!

Lovely review. I used to consume a whole packet of them in an evening (in my student days!!) and didn't gain an ounce. But then I never had tea or supper. I wouldn't recommend any one being as piggy as I was then though.
