Breakfast is my most favourite meal of the day. This is why it is worth having the most delicious food you can get (hopefully with some healthy stuff too). A good marmalade on a slice of toast is hard to beat. Silver Shred has always been a breakfast favourite of mine. My taste buds seem to zone in and out of flavours; one week I'll want a strong orange marmalade, another I'll yearn for the clean bright citrus taste of a lemon or a lime marmalade. Over the years I have eaten quite a lot of this! The Price ----------- From Tesco, a 454g jar of this will cost you £1.29. This certainly does not make it the cheapest option of ... The other day my Mum made a really welcome mistake. In charge of the weekly shopping she always gets me marmalade but in a hurry she picked this up and when I went to use it I was absolutely gutted! This Silver Shred lemon marmalade should be given a gold star as it is the most tangy lemony marmalde I have ever tasted. It is a well known brand name and doesn't dissapoint in flavour or texture in my view very much underrated. Like I said before a strong lemon taste is found in this jar amongst the jelly like consistancy of the marmalade a good dollop of shreds, finely shredded bits of lemon peel which give the whole thing a bite. Slightly tangy, but not rip your head off tangy, just right in fact ... Read the complete review
