Robertsons marmalades are ones that adorn the shelves of most supermarkets. Have done since as long as I can remember . James Robertson started making marmalades in 1864 . He was an owner of a grocery shop in Paisley and a sales man managed to persuade him to buy masses of oranges , his wife Marion when she saw what her hubby had done was inspired Mto make a huge batch of marmalade.
