 ... until I peeled back the lid. Surprisingly, they were actually quite nice(!). The yoghurt itself was quite creamy with bags of raspberry flavour, occasionally the bits were annoying, but overall they added a nice texture to the yoghurt, and were also very raspberry-y. The product is free from artificial colours, is made with live bio cultures (very healthy!), and is suitable for vegetarians. Having recently realised how much I could save my switching brands of certain foods, I decided to do the same with yoghurts. I was looking through the fridges in Tesco trying to hunt down a cheap yoghurt which wasn't full of rubbish and looked like quite a reasonable buy. I opted for Rowan Glen, Natural bio yoghurt in Raspberry flavour. I'd previously never heard anything about them, but at 29p for a 125g pot I didn't think I had much to lose. The packaging was quite basic, just a cream colours cylinder, with the company's Scottish logo on the front, the title and a picture of some raspberries, but at that price I don't expect a fancy wrapper. Whenever I choose yoghurts, I like to go for one with a promising strong flavour. It tends to be a refreshing fruity option I go for, as they usually provide the most satisfaction. However, I also now and again opt for something a little more 'natural', in the form of natural yoghurts! One of the latest I decided to sample was the Rowan Glen natural low fat bio yoghurt. I'd never had any Rowan Glen yoghurts before, so I didn't really know what to expect. All I knew is that they were "naturally Scottish". I'd not heard anything about them, no reviews or anything.
