Checking out the offers in Tesco today I noticed these little beauties that Ive not had for years and didnt know they still existed, Tooty Frooties! I remember the small bags from my childhood and used to love the fruity flavoured sweets back then. The bag I bought today is the same as the once pictured and contains 185g. I immediately put a bag into my trolley and couldnt wait to get back to the car so I could open them up and see if they still tasted the same. Quite obviously aimed at children the purple bag is brightly illustrated and on the back a little cartoon frooty tells us "Dont forget to brush your teeth", Im only mentioning ... After picking up the Rowntrees Pick 'n' Mix, I just had to pick us some of these, for many reasons. They are very high quality, have a great taste, texture and are also very juicy. Not to mention that they are cheap but they are quite crunchy, quite bitter and get sickly very quickly. The packaging is very bright, making them easy to see on the supermarket shelf. The product is always fresh and you get a generous amount in the packet, enough to satisfy your sweet tooth and hunger. I remember Rowntree's Tooty Frooties from my childhood, although I remember them being somewhat different to the pack I bought the other day. I've written reviews for sweets and chocolates before, and on the whole they all used to be so much bigger! I know there is the argument that I was smaller etc etc...but really, these are much smaller! Rowntree's Tootie Frooties come in a small purple plastic packet. it is about 12cm square, so as you see, quite small. I am sure they used to be in a larger white packet. The packaging is bright and attractive, children would like it. Each packet has a joke on the back, which is a nice touch. It also has a picture of a ... Read the complete review

I'm so glad dooyoo has put this up now. I have a very sweet tooth and tend to have too much chocolate so sometimes I look for things that are non-chocolate and will last a little longer than a chocolate bar. So I came across these Rowntree's Tooty Frooties which are chewy fruit sweets and have bought them since which is rare for me as I don't generally like fruit sweets. These are really a kids' sweet I'd say so normally you can find them in the kiddie sweets part along with lollies and such like. The packaging is bright purple with the words Tooty Frooties in yellow and it says it contains no artificial colours or flavours and that it contains real fruit ... Read the complete review
