Ohh squeeze me honey,
I have some honey that I squeeze most mornings at the moment. ... I like honey on toast for breakfast. I bought some Rowse squeezable clover honey from Sainsbury's it cost £1.49p for a bottle containing 340g.
Rowse honey was started in Ewelme in Oxfordshire not that far from me. Rowse honey was started by a Tony Rowse in 1954 the year I was born. At first only English honey was used but in the 1960's honey was imported from other countries blended and packaged in Great Britain in their factory in Wallingford.
This Squeezable blossom honey comes packages in a soft squeezable ridged plastic bottle.
It is made by nectar that bees have collected from a variety of flower blossoms. Rowse make a few other squeezable honeys too, Australian, Acacia, or one with added lemon too.
This honey is a lot easier to use than a traditional set honey as it is more liquid and the bottle lid has a hole in it that makes it easy to squeeze and pour a dribble onto any where you want your honey.
This honey is great for sweetening breakfast porridge or your croissants. Tasty poured and stirred into your natural yoghurt or over ice cream. Is great to squeeze over any deserts or onto bread to make a honey sandwich. You could always use this honey in cooking making honey cakes or in any recipe that needs a sweetener.
This honey is fairly liquid which makes it easy to spread, it has a smooth consistency. This honey is a pure natural honey. The taste is delicious sweet and has that mild flowery honey flavour. The taste is not a strong one. This is a pleasant honey
The website http://www.rowsehoney.co.uk/about_us.html gives some recipies and information
Honey and lemon makes a good mix to soothe a sore throat or to help cure a cold a drink of warm lemon sweetened with Rowse honey is warm and comforting
Although I have not tried it you could make a facial mask with Rowse honeys go to http://www.articles.ask-me-about.com/article/homem ade-facial-mask-recipies/3671 to get the recipe
I have heard that eating honey that is collected locally can help hay fever sufferers , in the summer I try to eat local honeys . I can not validate this claim as I also use hay fever medicines .
Honey is not suitable for children under 1 year old and diabetics should be careful how much they eat but other than that I know of none.
Enjoy your honey I am sitting here now with images of summer flowers and bees busy collecting nectar .
.
Summary: A good honey easy to use
