This is one of the best cerials to ensure a balanced diet. Rice krispies are made from puffed grains of rice and then baked in an oven kelloggs then add vitamins to help your health and well being. Vitamins The vitamins that are in this cerial are vitamin B1 and B2 along with niacin, these are good because they release the energy from food quickly into your body to help you have more energy to get up and go through the day. Then they also hold vitamins B6 and B12 which insures healthy blood. Rice Krispies are one of those very simple ideas, that has stood the test of time because if it's simplicity. Quite simply they are puffed grains of rice with very little added apart from some vitamins and minerals. They were a firm favourite of mine when I was growing up and still are (I'm 38 now!) I think cereals are great in general. I'm such a grazer and a bowl of cereal with skimmed milk is such a healthy snack. I know for a lot of people cereal is for breakfast, but for me it's an anytime snack. Rice Krispies are great because they are low in fat, something I am always on the look out for. A 30g serving contains just 114 calories and 0.1 g of ... Read the complete review

I have been eating Rice Krispies for breakfast for many years now. Every morning I wake up to a big bowl of them, accompanied by a good splash of cold skimmed milk and a glass of Tropicana orange juice. For me it's a great and tasty way to start off the day and the only time I change from this routine is when I'm on holiday and someone else (in a hotel!) is cooking me breakfast! Rice Krispies are made by the giant cereal company Kellogg's. They come in a bright blue cardboard box which stands out on the supermarket shelf and is easily recognizable. Along with a photograph of a bowl of the cereal, the box also has pictures of the three cartoon Rice Krispie men, ... Read the complete review

Breakfast is, we are told, the most important meal of the day. Whilst I have had periods in my life where I have told myself I am too tired/too busy/too late for work to eat breakfast, I would still agree that breakfast is important. On those days when I skip breakfast, I find myself hungry throughout the day, I end up snacking on rubbish, and eating more than I would otherwise have done. If my children skip breakfast, they are more likely to get tired, and grumpy (or is that just because they are teenagers.....?) and they therefore always make sure they have eaten before they head off to school. There is a huge choice in breakfast cereals now, on ... Read the complete review

On a recent shopping trip, and needing to buy cereal, Kelloggs Rice Crispies caught my eye. I'm not normally a fan of low fibre breakfast cereal because it just doesn't fill me up for any length of time but such was my instant craving for these little puffs of rice I bought a box anyway. My box is the 450g size and cost me £2.29. Rice Crispies are indeed made of rice and my research tells me the rice is cooked, dried and then toasted which forms the hollow type of consistency this cereal has and then when you add any liquid the hollow sections collapse rapidly creating the "snap, crackle and pop" sounds. You learn something new every day don't ... Read the complete review
